What is the WhatsApp Business API?
It is Meta’s official way for businesses to message customers at scale — now called the WhatsApp Business Platform. Rviing uses the Cloud API hosted by Meta, so you get bulk campaigns, multiple agents, automation and API access that the WhatsApp Business app cannot offer.
Do I need a new phone number?
You need a number that is not currently registered on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app. You can use a new number, or delete the WhatsApp account on an existing number and then connect it to Rviing. The number must be able to receive an SMS or voice call for verification.
What is a message template?
A template is a pre-approved message format (with optional variables, media and buttons) that you need to start a conversation or message a customer after the 24-hour window. You create it in Rviing, we submit it to Meta, and the approval status updates automatically — usually within minutes.
What is the 24-hour customer service window?
When a customer messages you, a 24-hour window opens. Inside it you can reply with any free-form message, image or document. After it closes you can only send an approved template. The Rviing inbox shows the window timer on every chat.
How are STOP and opt-outs handled?
If a customer replies STOP (or a similar opt-out keyword) or taps an opt-out button, Rviing marks the contact as opted out immediately. Campaigns and flows skip opted-out contacts automatically, which keeps you compliant and protects your number’s quality rating.
How does pricing work, and what does Meta charge?
Rviing is pay-as-you-go from a prepaid wallet. Each template message costs Meta’s charge for its category (marketing, utility or authentication) plus a small Rviing platform fee. Replies inside the 24-hour customer service window are not charged by Meta. There is no monthly lock-in.
Can you get me the green tick?
The green tick (Meta Verified / official business account) is granted only by Meta. We help you prepare a strong request — verified business, display name, website and press presence — but nobody can promise or guarantee approval.
Is my data safe?
Your data stays in your account and is never sold. Messages travel through Meta’s Cloud API, every business account’s data is isolated from others, and you can request deletion at any time from our data deletion page.
Do you have an API for developers?
Yes. Generate an API key in Rviing to send templates and messages from your website, app, ERP or OneLedger, and receive delivery and incoming-message webhooks on your own URL. See the developer docs for details.
