Connect your WhatsApp number

Embedded Signup with Facebook in about two minutes — what you need and what you will see.

Rviing uses Meta's Embedded Signup: a secure Facebook pop-up that creates (or reuses) your WhatsApp Business Account and registers your number on the Cloud API. You never have to copy passwords or access tokens by hand.

What you need

  • A Facebook account with admin access to your Meta Business portfolio — or permission to create one.
  • A phone number not registered on WhatsApp right now. To use a number that is on the WhatsApp Business app, delete that WhatsApp account from the app first (chat history on the phone is not moved).
  • Access to that number to receive a verification code by SMS or voice call.
  • A display name that matches your business, for example your store or brand name.

Steps

  1. In Rviing, open WhatsApp accounts (or the onboarding checklist) and click Connect with Facebook.
  2. A Meta pop-up opens. It says you are connecting to PingPilot — that is the name of our Meta app. PingPilot is the Meta app used by Rviing by OneLedger; both are operated by SAER Technologies Pvt Ltd.
  3. Log in to Facebook and choose your Business portfolio (or create one).
  4. Choose an existing WhatsApp Business Account or create a new one.
  5. Enter your display name, business category and the phone number.
  6. Enter the verification code Meta sends to that number.
  7. Review the permissions and click Finish. The pop-up closes and Rviing shows your number as connected.

After connecting

  • Display name review: Meta reviews your display name. Until it is approved, your messaging limit may be lower.
  • Messaging limits: New numbers start with a daily limit on business-initiated conversations. The limit grows automatically as you send good-quality messages to more unique customers.
  • Meta payment method: Depending on your setup, Meta may ask for a payment method in WhatsApp Manager. Our team can help you check this.
  • Business verification: Completing Meta business verification in Business Settings unlocks higher limits and is needed before you can request an official business account.

About the green tick

The green tick (official business account / Meta Verified) is granted only by Meta. We help you prepare a strong request — verified business, consistent display name, active website and press presence — but nobody can promise or guarantee approval.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
"This phone number is already registered" The number is still on the WhatsApp app. Delete the WhatsApp account from the app, wait a few minutes and try again.
No verification code arrives Choose the voice-call option and check the number format (country code + number).
Pop-up closes without connecting Allow pop-ups for this site, make sure you are an admin of the Business portfolio and try again.
Display name rejected Use the exact business name shown on your website or signage, without extra words or emojis.
